I don't even know why mans said some foolish like that. Only thing Book got similar to Kobe is his middy, and some of his handles look similar. That is all :hubie:

I’ve been said Book is really Allan Houston 2.0. His J is purer than Kobe’s...it’s like H20’s and his athleticism is no where near Kobe’s. Comparing Book to Kobe is a lazy comp...but a lotta people prob don’t even remember Allan Houston:yeshrug:

Booker more comparable to Ray Allen as an athlete not Kobe.

People still Overrate Kobe's athleticism though, dude was a monster in his prime, but people only put him up there with Vince, MJ, and Dominque Wilkens, because he was a great player. Regular journeyman and borderline stars like Gerald Green and Zach Lavine (people of that ilk) had more hops than Kobe. Kobe was gifted, and more athletic than Devin Booker clearly, but he isn't top 5. Truthfully i think prime Wade was a better dunker than Kobe, but of course he lost his lift early due to his knee's.
Nah He Got Game Ray Allen was athletic as hell.

HE JUST JUMPS HIGHER
IN A STRAIGHT LINE.

What does this even mean? EVERY jump is in a straight line.
Who jumps to the left and lands to the right? When has that ever happened?

I agree that Kobe was a more athletic player than Vince because his athleticism encompassed more than dunking (which is mainly what Vince's was). But this "jump in a straight line" makes zero sense.

:mjlol:STRAIGHT LINE
MEANS YOU RUN IN A STRAIGHT LINE
TOWARDS THE BASKET AND JUMP.

NOW FORCE A nikka TO

CHANGE DIRECTION,
AND HIS VERT DROPS SIGNIFICANTLY.
THIS WASNT THE CASE WITH
GUYS LIKE MJ, ROSE, KOBE.

Even if you're able to adjust your body to avoid a block or a defender, you're still jumping in the same direction.
