:dead: at Chris Childs Wikipedia page
Childs' success in the minor leagues proved to be his ticket to the NBA, as he signed with the New Jersey Nets prior to the start of the 1994–95 NBA season. He spent his first two seasons with the Nets, and averaged an NBA career-high 12.8 points in 1995-96.
However, Childs was perhaps best remembered for his five-year (1996–2001) tenure with the New York Knicks, who relied on his tight defense and streaky three-point shooting ability during their perennial runs to the NBA Playoffs. It was during this time that Childs helped lead the New York Knicks to the NBA Eastern Conference championship in 1999. He led the team in assists (6.1 per game) as a starter during the 1996-97 season, and was a valuable contributor off the bench during his next four years with the team. A visible figure in the New York media, he also represented the Knicks on the 1998-99 NBA All-Interview Team and won the New York Press Photographers Association's 2000 "Good Guy Award"[2] for his involvement with several charities and youth basketball programs.
In February 2001, Childs was traded to the Toronto Raptors for Mark Jackson and Muggsy Bogues, with whom he played for one-and-a-half seasons before rejoining the Nets in 2002. He retired after the 2002-2003 season.

And let's not forget, he punched Kobe.

You're a blatant Kobe-hater, so ...

And I definitely wasn't trying to spin this as a Kobe win, but facts are facts. And y'all bring this up whenever Kobe's toughness is brought up. But let's dismiss that fact and talk about something that happen a decade ago as if it was yesterday.

Outstanding :troll:'ng.
When have I ever stated something that was incorect about Kobe. I don't like the lakers though. Even then I still give props. I feel I'm very unbias and give credit whenever it's warranted. Stans on the other hand go out of their way to convenience everone that Kobe isn't mortal. And if you don't agree your a hater.

Dudes talking about he was sucker punched, but I'm trolling, ok.

Who's spinning it retard, I just said that Phil Jackson would do this before every big game to get the other team focused on something else... he did that for years and Kobe was his protege. How is that being a stan you fukking moron.

:umad:why the harsh words breh? We taking about dude fighting child's.

I could proly agree with your post otherwise:manny:

I'm sure Chris Childs, Reggie Miller, Karl Malone, Raja Bell and maybe a few others got a good laugh hearing Kobe say that.

:snoop: There are two debates goin on here. Some people say Kobe didnt do shyt after he got pieced up,therefore saying he's a bytch. The only thing ppl defending Kobe are saying is he didnt bytch up like some of you would lead ppl to believe. Nobody is saying childs shouldn't back up or get out the way. Damn...reading is fundamental. I don't think Kobe about that life either but damn the hate is strong.

Basically.

He got punched. Then he went back. Everyone interrferred right after. Debate should end there. Shouldn't even be a debate.

None of them punched him in his nuts though:yeshrug:

We ALL know Kobe ain't about that life, but when you hit another man in his nuts HARD and ON PURPOSE, you never know what he'll do. I personally don't believe Kobe, but I thnk he would've retaliated during game play on some slick ish.

Fistful of jewels
:what:if anything Kobe tried to sneak an elbow in to begin w/ which started it. Lol at square'n off then get'n sucker punched while face to face.:rudy:

This is the problem with Kobe stans. shyt is plain as day but y'all gone either dismiss it or spin it as a win for Kobe. Then throw comments about his work ethic and leadership in there, why?

Just watching first take, they like "yea Kobe woulda smacked him I would even take Kobe in that fight."

Best believe the media will make it seem like Kobe is a warrior who never backs down.

Why are you acting like Kobe just stood there and did nothing after getting hit?

if you get hit in the nuts the first thing you gonna do is cringe and evaluate the damage. if it's a direct hit then you going to the ground. if it was a miss and nothing was damaged then you go nutzo on the person. people who expect to see a fight after someone gets hit in the nuts don't know what it's like to get hit in the nuts on purpose or on accident.

and lol @ kobe talking bout he gonna smack someone in the mouth. this is the type of sh1t that gets kobe in trouble in those street cred discussions.

Childs started that fight though with that headbutt but kobe didnt want to commit to that forearm shot. He didnt want to hurt childs but childs wanted to hurt kobe.

Come on breh. If Kobe was out here dropping combos and bobbing and weaving. Y'all would be breaking it down like the fight doctor. And saying that, today, Kobe stans woulda posted that shyt on the first page.

But cause Kobe isn't held in a good light on the gif y'all wanna just sweep it under the rug. That's bytchmade. Take the good with the bad.

Stan example number 1.

Not a troll and i am very far from dumb.

I think the thing you are missing his him willing to ENGAGE in altercations either for himself or his team mates.

Some cats in the NBA don't even have the willingness to confront an individual about a situation they don't agree with.

Anyhow the Chris Child's gif is wack and played.

If the show fits wear it. The childs gif has received legendary status. Kobe isn't tough like that.
