MVP's are irrelevant anyways. How do I know? Steve Nash left the place where he won 2 MVPS to chase rings with Kobe. Thats how I know.

The media votes for the best story.

The coaches and players should vote for the MVP. Since they actually COACH and PLAY against the players.

Ya, no way Nash gets the MVP over Shaq if the players and coaches were voting. The league has evolved since MJ. MJ was FAR AND AWAY the best player in the L, perhaps the only close comp being Olajuwon, where as with Kobe, you had a ridiculous list of players who at any given time could be the best player in the L

A.I.
T-Mac
Kidd
Wade
Rose
Shaq
Duncan
Lebron
Nash
Rose
CP3

etc etc. I think there is more parity talent-wise in Kobe's era, thus less MVPs, but I stand with Bird, it's a travesty he only has one, a lot of it due to just plain 'ol hate.

Shaq and Kobe only have 1 MVP yet Steve Nash has 2 :aicmon: awards been a joke ever since :manny:

It was actually a joke before that. I am actually glad the shyt worked out the way it did because it forces nikkas to go by what actually happens on the court rather than blindly following awards that are completely based on media bias/agenda. If only the same thing would happen with rings. I get the feeling Bron winning a few more titles will help with that. :russ:
