Jordan got to do whatever he wanted but he was still an effective player, he was legitimately a high level starter, not superstar and maybe not a true all-star but he was still good. Right now, Kobe is getting to do what he wants while basically having Ricky Rubio level abilities of scoring, he is no longer an effective player, dude should be coming off the bench as a rotation player.

Thing is Malta MJ was always an efficient scorer. His MO was always to take a high percentage shot (that is one reason he didn't like to shoot a lot of three pointers). But as far as Kobe he was never a person who looked for the high percentage shot when it came to shot selection like MJ. Kobe is a dude in his prime would shoot turn around fade away threes during games.

So as Kobe body has broken down and his team has gotten worse this shyt becomes more and more glaring.

But Kobe like MJ had the same mind set that if the teammates didn't perform then fukk them I will shoot that bytch over and over again. So in that aspect this situation reminds me of MJ in Washington especially the last year (where MJ basically said fukk it I am gonna shoot this bytch if y'all ain't performing). You got two dudes with similar mind sets but who's bodies have slowed down, father time has caught them and they have the shytiest teams and teammates that they have ever had in their careers. So their flaws are extremely noticeable.

If he gets on the Olympic team for the Brazil olympics he will look much better because the teammates will be better and he won't be allowed to shoot 8 billion times a game.

He had knee surgery, but ignore that part as well.

Your posting is slacking lately :scust:

1 surgery in his career compared to multiple for Kobe.
Plus like I said, multiple stints away from basketball. Twenty consecutive seasons in the league and multiple injuries take their toll.

@Alexander The Great
Reggie was on good teams in his later years :camby:
