the reaction to this pick up game story just shows how much these nikkas fear us. Lakers are like Voltron. We'll always come back together and smash the competition.
I thought you converted to a Bucks fan when you swore Wiggins was going there. :sas1:

You weren't saying all that when you thought Melo was going to Chicago :umad:

Chicago aint winning shyt with McDermott :mjlol:
I don't know where Melo is going (and I never once claimed to), however going to LA doesn't make any sense and there'd be no chance at all, he'd contend for a title if he did - I still stand by that reasoning.

i don't really know all about the salary cap shyt out chea nah mean i ain't one of the cosby's i ain't go to hillman, so tell me can the lakers sign this nikka melo and pau and also get dat lil nikka isaiah thomas on the squad?

trading nash frees up $10 mil in cap space. Give Pau $6.5 mil and give Isaiah the remianing $3.5 mil + the room exception ($2.7 mil). both guys basically come out to about $6 mil/yr. fill the rest of the roster with vet mins.

Isaiah
Kobe
Melo
Randle
Pau

that team is top 4 in the west. Randle = ROY. :banderas:

then he went to the cavs and deaded that dream. we gettin melo so there's no reason to leave the Lake train.
What happens when Melo resigns with the Knicks?

You telling me he's gonna take a paycut to play with an old Kobe? After turning down playing with Rose Noah & Butler?

C'mon son.

:dahell: we can also offer him the max stupid. just not that 5th year.

but that doesn't really matter cause the new CBA is coming in 2 years and it would be in Melo's best interest to sign a 4 year deal with a player option. that way he can opt out after 3 with his bird rights intact and get the Lakers to reup him with a new max deal that'll pay him much more than the last 2 years on the 5 year deal would. also note that the Lakers loyalty in paying Kobe $50 mil over the next 2 years shows Melo that this organization is loyal to its stars and will pay them when they get up there in age. 33 year old Melo should still be good enough to get another max deal or at the very least a contract extention that'll pay him alot more than the $30 mil he'd get that last year with NYK.

kobe and melo were just seen together walking out of mastros ::sas2:

very close to kobes pad :sas1:

I love how 2 days ago the entire world was tryin to tell us we had no chance on melo. ESPN acting like he was just doing it as a favor to Kobe. All the talk was either NY or Chicago. oh how quickly things change. :laff:
