:mindblown:

I said they were below 500 and you didn't post how many game they lost...

So lets do the math..Its 82 games in a season right. At least for the last 35 years or so.

44 losses in year 1
52 losses in year 2
42 losses in year 3

So I was dead on.......:mjpls:

Come on yall.

do you not see an improvement my nikka? from 29 wins to 50 wins in 4 years?

9 game improvement first season, 2 game improvement 3rd season.

Did u expect the bulls to go to from 29 to 60 wins or something?

different era, different comp. no zone defense.

jordan played guys at his position who were either smaller, shorter, not as strong, or not as athletic as him. no matter who he played. he always had a PHYSICAL/ GOD GIFTED edge on his opponent on paper before the ball was even tossed up. that would not be the case if he played in KObe's era. everyone is a MJ clone now. durant is virtually 7 feet. lebron is karl malone with handles. i mean let me stop there. or let me start again. Tmac 6'8 long arms, hops out of this world, crazy athletic, mean jumper from all over. Vince carter 6'5 to 6'6. monster hops, silly agility, handles. i mean the man did cross someone up then hammer danced all over a 7 foot full grown man in the olympics. Mjay wasnt playing these dudes at his position back in the good ole days. lets be real. dumars aint dunking over 7 footers, hornacek was cool but he wasnt shaking nobody down with the dribbles then pulling up for a cold jumper like Tmac-pre back issues.

MJAY could over power or out jump out run his opponent. not so with kobe because of the level of comp at his position got better and better and better. (all because of the God father jordan).

Blah Blah Blah.

The same Durant who gets to take 20 FTs a night for air fouls? :scusthov:

In this guard orientated, no hand checking era of basketball, Michael Jordan would be even better. He would still overpower guards, dunk on any PF/C in the league, and regularly put up 50. And he would probably shoot 15+ FTs a game, just because of how good he was at getting to the rim and drawing fouls. The league is very soft today. You sound really like young man. It seems to me like you've never seen Michael Jordan play.

much tougher? NO. tough? YES.
but for MJ the individual. name some of those shorter, smaller, not nearly as athletic guys he went against from those teams. proves my point. mj like lebron today(to some degree). was on paper already dominating his peers. he was taller, longer, stronger, fasther, quicker, more hops. Light work for mjay. kobe was going up vs jordan clones and aliens bouncing off the ceiling with super long arms.

much tougher = yes not even debateable in the least

you mean the same jordan clones, Jordan went against as a 40 year old man and still lit up?

That's not what I replied too. I replied to a poster that tried to insinuate that MJ was beasting with these teams and making the playoffs, and they might have, but they were below 500, and anyone with an ounce of sports sense knows that if a team that's below 500 makes the playoffs, then obviously that division or conference is lacking in quality....

Bottom line is, they were losers for Jordan's first 4 years.

MJ was beasting, he was a league MVP, and he did lead them to the playoffs. Were they serious title contenders? Heck No they weren't, but it doesn't change that michael as a rookie was a top 5 player in the league

you do know the nba only had 23 teams in the 80's right

:snoop:

still 8 teams made it so you had times where under 500 teams made it.

Hell the bucks were 38-44 this year and made the playoffs. Ironically the same record MJ had as a rookie with the bulls making the playoffs.

Wow.

Typical Kobe response. He clearly must be thinking about "individual" stats when mentioning this because the thought of Mike playing with a big as dominate as Shaq is just...

:wow:

MJ won rings with Luc Longley, Bill Wennington, washed Cartwright and other mediocre bigs playing Center for him.

:heh:
how many did he win without pippen and a top 5 pf of the time :smugdraper:

What a delusional ass rapist. He's spent his whole career being the Chrysler 300 to MJ's Bentley but NOW he wants those comparisons to end because he realizes he'll never have his own legacy? FOH.

Should have thought about that before copying Mike's moves down to his mannerisms and being a self admitted MJ stan.

Fact of the matter is, Kobe's finally realizing that his career will always have that “but" attached to it.

“Kobe? Yea, he was great, BUT he wasn't MJ"... But he did that to himself.

kobe hater, mj lover post.

look mr i only know what the media tells me. the media told me as a kid MJ was the greatest and no one will ever surpass him. until they said LBJ is the greatest . so i too skip over kobe.

^^thats you.

everyone copied jordan's moves. just like jordan was copying moves from DR J and david thompson. mike had his own stage because magic had aids, bird had a broke back, and the pistons were just old.

all the greats were aged out by the time mike was ready to contend. not his fault. but lets tell it like it is. this is why jordan is THE GREATEST EVER. its not just because of his winning ways, and scoring/defense. its because he was the greatest player in his era by FAR since all the other legends who would have challenged his throne were all REtired or old.

Kobe came into the nba as a 17yr old backup sg to an allstar in eddie jones.

it took him a few years to get to the starting spot then he had to play 2nd fiddle to shaq. the nba was ramping up with ballers. next thing you know, kobe is a monster, but so is shaq. shaq is older and in his prime. the most dominant at his position in that era. therefore you think of shaq more so then you do kobe. just like you think of jordan more so then you do anyone else for the same reason. but kobe is just playing semi passive to be a team guy and win rings with oneal. more or less swallowing his pride and winning those first 3. only showing you how ridiculously good he was vs the spurs in the offs.

then shaq goes bye bye. everyone else, all of his peers started off with sorry teams but now have decent to good teams. he started off with a good team and is now in the dumps. but he proves how great he is with those clowns he had on his team, smush parker lasted one more season post lakers and ended up on the street ball circuit. where is brian cook?. kwame brown cant catch. it was pitiful. he still drug those clowns into the offs.. TWICE. almost shocked the world once by beating the #2 seed.

of course he copied jordan's moves. who didnt. he also copied a lot of old school players moves. kobe has told you this in the past. but yall aint listening. he use to be stuck in italy watching his pops play pro ball. so he had to get Tapes of american nba games. thats why he fell in love with the old school players and had their moves down pat. he mimicked everyone he liked, including mike.

but he did mike, better then mike. he had a post game, much earlier in his career then mike, he had a better one dribble pull up then mike. better handles. better midrange jumper. but unlucky for kobe. he never had the chance to play a league full of guys that were either shorter, slower , or couldnt jump as high as him. kobe had to play guys that were built just like him or better physically.
