So here is something that is not a relatively new concept, it may not be openly taught in a lot of churches today, but it is by no means new. This concept, while it can be disheartening, makes me love the Gawd even more, and it makes me even more curious about him.

The evidence you use to say he is probably innocent is equally helpful in saying he is probably guilty. None of us really know what happened but this whole "he can get anyone he wants" defense is weak as fukk. Unless you think she strongarmed him or broke into his room, it doesn't matter why she was in the room. No one is really questioning that he wanted to do something with her and that she wanted to do something with him. The accuser's allegation was that at some point, the meeting became nonconsensual. Kobe denies those allegations but her simply agreeing to enter the room doesn't relinquish her right to say no and/or leave at any point.
Rape cases that don't involve breaking and entering or drugging the victim are typically hard to prove or prosecute because it relies solely on he said-she said testimony. It is almost impossible to get a reliable verdict from a case like this.
I agree that it wouldn't have made sense for him to risk everything with a rape but it also doesn't exactly make sense to put his entire reputation in the hands of a complete stranger. Sexual desires tend to provoke a lot of poor choices
