I feel some type of way seeing a millionaire athlete talk about being under paid but he has a point as its relative to how owners are making money under the current cba. On the flipside, with no cap, you'd have something like European soccer where only 3-5 teams in the league have a chance each year bc they buy all the best players. But it's not like nba is that far off with only like 8 teams winning in the last 30 years or so. They just either need to have an open market and say screw parity, or go the NFL route and introduce a hard cap. I'm not a fan of them being in between

He's right. No reason why the superstars in the NBA (Bron Kobe KD), or anyone should be taking a paycut while these rich white owners profit more.

Get all the money you can get. :salute:

kobe should be getting around 40-50million a year. same with lebron and KD.

if there was a truly free market, they would fetch higher. best believe the NY Knicks would offer them something like $75 mil/yr.

just look at the sort of transfer fees we see each year in international soccer. guys getting sold for $100-120 million. someone like Messi (considered the best in soccer) could probably fetch close to $200 million.

regardless

I never want to see a NBA without a salary cap. parity is bad enough - people really want to see the NBA's problems combined with MLB's?

there's only been like 8 franchises that have won NBA titles breh. ain't no such thing as parity. its just an illusion created by the cac owners to continue to underpay black athletes. with or without a salary cap, only a few teams ever compete for a title.
