One of the saddest things to see, when an athlete can't face reality. And I always love how it's always about him, and his quest to get more rings than MJ. Dude have should've played an individual sport, so fukking annoying, having to deal with an individual like him in a team or group situation.

Stupid post

How is Kobe wanting to win another ring bad for the Lakers in any fashion? Is there ANY situation where a player should NOT want a ring?

This whole "face reality" narrative is stupid as well...considering the reality is Kobe has been in 7 NBA finals and has 5 rings. Winning is Kobe's reality, that's what he does. There should never be a point when a top athlete doesn't expect or aspire to win a championship. Y'all acting like dude isn't the most prolific champion of the last decade. Y'all been trying to write dude off for the past 5 years, last year he had excellent top 5 season, but he's supposed to "face reality" and expect to not win another ring despite playing for the prolific franchise of this generation. Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

if everyone is 100% healthy then kobe had the best cast in the league

that wasn't the case though, lebron had more help this year without question

the lakers never had more than 2 of their big 4 guys healthy at the same time

dwight was playing at 75% or less the entire year
nash missed 32 games and was injured when he was playing
gasol missed 33 games and was injured when he was playing
jordan hill missed 53 games
steve blake missed 30 games

I m guessing Wade is healthy too right ? :ld:

A flabby DWade, Bosh, 3 point shooters >>>> Lakers starting lineup playing 20 games together

You guys suck at reading between the lines...

He's talking about coaching....

The general consensus is that the Lakers wont be willing to throw D'Antoni in the bushes and bring in another coach because then they'd still have to pay D'Antoni while also paying the new coach.

That's what he means by "Necessary expenses".

Plus if you pay attention to what Kobe has been saying he wants to core group brought back and he felt they were playing well after a certain point. That "point" was when they threw D'Antoni's system into the bushes (and damn near everyone involved with the team has confirmed this).

now that :whoo: got a job with the cavs, does this mean the lakers no longer have to pay him for the remaining years of his deal?

He's gotta be talking about more bench players or role players. I also think he's hinting at getting a younger more athletic replacement for Artest.

Kobe has an entitled mentality he would struggle if he was drafted to the bulls in 84 or cavs in 03.You saw those years after shaq left when son was mising the playoffs and losing in the 1st round this kid was losing his mind and wanted a trade

:pachaha: this nikka went to a playoff team with a prime diesel then got pau gift wrapped then nash and dwight

Example # 20 why lebron and Jordan are on different plateaus than this hog

:mindblown: so now we're somehow back to Lebron playing on a team lacking of talent...are there really heat fans that would REALLY prefer this year's lakers over this year's heat..."flabby and sick" dwade had a better season (20pt 5ast 5rb) than any laker not named kobe...pau missed half of the entire season, and Bosh was better than him when he was there....nash missed half of the entire season, and even for that half he played...are there heat fans that would prefer 40 year old nash on their squad in place of the pressure defense chalmers and coles are able to bring in the backcourt...especially when you already have bron and wade as primary and secondary playmakers?...dwight didn't look anywhere near himself till the final stretch of the season...the bench was non-existent...are y'all trolling or serious
