I always though it was on purpose because of the infighting. It was not the first or last time Shaq did that to Kobe, I remember a time in the ASG (I think it was) where Shaq made a great play, Kobe reached for a pound and Shaq responded, "don't give me no five!"

Nevertheless, this moment is a top 5 Kobe/Shaq play.

Plenty of plays where Kobe draws on the defense and Shaq feasts off the open dunk. Shaq got the credit for that play but Kobe drew in 3 defenders and set his ass up for a lob. I know Shaq now respects Kobe and vice versa.

I remember this game like it was yesterday. Was at my dads house and he gave up with a minute left in the 3rd and went grocery shopping.

When Shaw hit that 3 at the end of the 3rd I figured we might have a chance


And then that 4th Q happened.


My dad literally walked in the house right after that play happened. Wondered why me and my lil bro was so elated and I had to inform him we came back and was about to win. He literally threw the groceries he had in his had on the floor and caught his spot on the couch.
