You sure? We were the #1 seed half way through the season with just Kobe/Bynum/LO before we even got him

We would've been able to get past the 1st round with just Kobe, LO and an emerging Bynum. Pau also wasn't the only addition the season we got him, we also had added Ariza who wasnt there during those 06 and 07 1st round exits.

To get to the Finals, if we didn't get Pau we probably would've had to flip Bynum for someone like Chris Bosh which would've been an even better partner for Kobe than Pau was.
