He and Kobe have a friendship. That's where Barry Bonds fukked up, he didn't have a good relationship with the media so no one went to bat for him in the end. Same thing with Kareem. If you're friendly with the media they won't be quick to turn on you in the end as opposed to not being friendly with them.

Of course playing like that as an 18-year-old gets you hyped, but he still had to work for his. No one has ever been as good as a teenager as Lebron was. Not even close.

Kobe got to start in an All-Star game when he was averaging 15-3-3 and couldn't even start for his own team.

He took a stacked Golden State team to 6 games even though his 2nd leading scorer averaged 22 FEWER POINTS PER GAME than him.

Even with no one to pass to and no one making a shot, he averaged 2 more assists per game than the rest of his team combined.

But if you say, "Oh, wow, 36-13-9 in the Finals is impressive", you're riding his dikk.
