this dude have said the NBA have been fine without Kobe lmao...yea muthafukking right...he's NBA's second and maybe still first most popular player, been the best player in the league for so fukking long...u telling me the league isn't missing him...shyt the league misses Derrick Rose too...but Kobe? are u muthafukking kidding me

this. its like saying the NBA was fine without Jordan after he retired. the league is never fine when its #1 showman isn't there.

now what if LeBron loses. 3 loses in the finals. 2-3 record (including the choke job in 2011). his legacy would be DEVASTATED. nowhere near Kobe/Duncan/Shaq.

now if he wins, he'd have a good case for top 8. above someone like Bird. he'd also be on the fast track to surpassing guys like Kobe, Shaq, and Duncan, if he gets more rings and keeps up his level of play for 4-5 more seasons. Kobe/Shaq/Duncan still got 4-5 rings repectively and that makes a BIG difference. Also their longevity. More all-nba teams and career numbers. Bron wouldn't automatically go ahead of them with one more ring. He'd be in the convo though.

And never forget Bron had a better team around him than Kobe/Shaq/Duncan ever had. 4 HOFers. 3 still in their prime. Kobe never had that. Neither did Shaq. Duncan arguably.

Will you stop acting like an injured Wade and injured Bosh were putting prime numbers in the playoffs? They were INJURED. 15.9 PPG on 45% is NOT BETTER than 18.3 on 58%.

Post Wade and Gasol's stats in their respective championship runs, as 2nd options, and tell me that you'd rather have Wade.

No it hasn't it's been terrible and you know it. The NBA's 2 guard game has never looked more :scusthov:.
The corniest thing that has happened in Kobe's absence is the parade of random posters making references to Kobe's absence with terrible jokes for cheap daps by people who hate Kobe stans. Like people I've never seen recognized before. Yes, even cornier than Swagnificent's desperation (this nikka is ex-communicated right....). I don't know a single real NBA fan, or fan of basketball and competition that really wanted to see the Lakers play without Kobe. You'd have to be a Lakers or Kobe hater to the umpteenth degree to want that. The same people who were :to: at the idea of Duncan retiring are out here fronting like Kobe left no void at all. "We all know it's not the same without Kobe out there." - LeBron

As for this finals, individually I like the Heat's big 3 more than the Spurs as a whole, but I think I'd almost rather SA win. The Spours are the Patriots of the NBA :manny:

Their hate runs that deep, some people won't appreciate Kobe until he's been officially retired for several years.

whens the last time someone put up numbers next to lebron :troll:

Kobe has always been able to get more outta his co-stars than Bron. He doesn't reduce them all into jumpshooters. he lets them play their game.

tell that to :shaq:. "I'm done being the sidekick, i'm taking over". all that chucking leading to detroit in 5. 56 crunch time attempts to 1 assist from 2007-2008 through 2011-2012. really getting lots out of teammates and helping them grow.

when jordan retired both times he was the reigning champ coming off 3-peats and did it on his own terms as the best player in the game:win:

kobe limped off the court on an underachieving lakers team that was barely a playoff contender:laff:

stop comparing the two
