yeah the series where he shot 38% and had a 2-point game and an 8-point game where he shot 4-20

kobe would trade all those WCF performances for a Finals MVP during the shaq era, that shyt eats at his soul that people will look back at those 3-peat years and realize who the team's best player was

kobe stans can try to rewrite history all you want, but it's already etched in stone
I ain't no stan so, miss me.

Anyhow, c'mon bro, we all know no one was ever really a good match up on Shaq, of course he ate good. We posted the numbers already though, Kobe was a role player? IN YOUR OWN WORDS. You're Shaqtin The Fool.

how old are u? kobe rolled his ankle 5 minutes into game 2. then missed all of game 3 (which they lost). came back in game 4 when he shoulda been out for weeks and delivered one o classic clutch performances in finals history.

oh yeah and he did this at 21 years old.
shaq put up 38 points and 16 rebounds that series. lakers couldve replaced kobe with david wingate that series and still wouldve won easily:manny:

Right! So how many rings does Shaq have without Kobe & Wade? Eddie Jones, Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Anfernee Hardaway & Van Exel are all superior to David Wingate but O'Neal couldn't win a ring with them. How come?

Bad example
Shaq inherited a 50 plus win Laker team couldn't get them to the finals. They had to trade for Glen Rice, Horace Grant, Ron Harper bring in Phil Jackson and the emergence of Kobe Bryant to get to the finals. Shaq's "dominance" was always there, the rings and playoff success wasn't. How come?

1. that was probably after the second playoff series not the entire 2001 playoffs
2. Shaq averaged 30 and 15 on 55% shooting those entire playoffs.. kobe for the playoffs averaged 29 and 7 on 48% shooting
3. in the Finals, shaq's scoring/fg %/rebounding and blocks went up to 33 pts on 57% fg, 15.8 and 3.4 blocks.. kobe's numbers went down to 24 and 7 on 41% shooting
4. Jigga man is diesel, when i lift the 8 up

kobe was the third best player in the nba finals that year :sas2:

iverson dropped 35.6 and 5.6 for the series :blessed:

Anyone in the history of the NBA woulda been Shaqs "Robin" from 2000-2002, but look at Kobes career post Shaq

2 championships
2 fmvps
2 scoring titles
1 80 point game
5 60 point games
20+ 50 point games
70 + 40 point games
2 gold medals
1 mvp

Name me a more dominant perimeter player in the history of the NBA not named Jordan?:whoo:

The only thing missing is that MVPs, but the media don't fukk with Bean, so it's fukk dem nikkas fa life

Edit: that's like an 8 year span of dominance nikka, don't be mad fukkboy

You don't even know wtf you're talking about.

You just proved his point dikkhead. Kobe Averaged 29 and 7, those are Lebron's Mvp numbers. And Kobe did that as a second option. :umad:
