Kobe got so much hate, and for what?
a false rape accusation, and people that are butthurt cuz he raped their favorite team for 20 years.
I respect Kobe for not being a diva like Lebron and most of the rest of the players of this era. Basketball didn't use to be a reality TV show. NBA Players used to be serious about competing and generally didn't like their opponent. Now everyone is buddy buddy
, and competition is an afterthought to money and fame, and all these kids think Kobe is an "arrogant a$$hole" simply because he was the fiercest competitor of his era and king of the hill. 
Best offensive player of all time. Hands down, and a way underrated defender ...way better than
