1. home game ----- check
2. nationally televised ------ check
3. against a great team ----- check

add to the fact this is the same team he got injured against, and I can't think of a more appropriate return

Fox asked him if there was a game he had circled that he wanted to make sure he was back for......and Kobe said yes

I think barring some unseen setback, Friday is the most likely return. The Lakers players said he looked good in practice. If he has medical clearance and some good practices under his belt, Kobe will play. He ain't Derrick Rose.

i read about it this morning, all it means is that its on kobe to return and he's far from it. they said kobe's practice he had was nothing. They said he couldn't even sprint and nobody was playing any defense.
