02 Spurs had rookie Parker and no Manu. They almost got knocked out by the Sonics that year. The showed showed is how amazing Duncan is if anything

how you gonna ignore 2004 as well?
trying to downplay the 2002 spurs with a prime team duncan, david robinson, rookie parker who was eating fisher alive, prime bruce bowen on defense :russ:

When you have 5 titles...over 3 decades...you don't really have a "nemesis"...

And if anyone had the last laugh it is Swag Antonio...lakers have literally been the worst team in the west and one of the worst teams in the league since The Spurs swept them...

Lets be honest here... San Antonio will never have the last laugh over a franchise like the Lakers. I mean the Lakers have more titles in the 80s alone than the Spurs have in their existence. Hell in this same time span you speak of the Lakers have the same amount of titles that the Spurs have.

Brah, that was only a year ago. I hope you realize this only the sixth time the Lakers have missed the playoffs...over the span of 7 decades. It's cute though, you guys have done good in those 3 decades(er, 18 years, not 3 decades :russ:) and all but I'll take the complete domination of the league since it's incarnation over lucking out on landing Tim Duncan in the year Robinson got hurt.

The Truth
Watching these old clips is just :wow:

I miss those days man. Kobe, Shaq, AI, Vince, even McGrady, KG, Ray Allen of old, etc.

Last great era of basketball imo. Great teams, real rivalries, playoffs were exciting.

And what's even more impressive is that Kobe was slicing San Antonio while they were the best defensive team in the league :wow:

Edit: Watching these highlights, it's amazing Kobe didn't win MVP
