kobe shot more free throws so his "shot attempts" would be less, also kobe shot more 3s so his scoring should be higher. Jordan was way more efficient, shot attempts or not.
Jordan scoring titles is in the double digits. He averaged 38 once. He averaged 29 as a rookie. He has the highest scoring average in the history of the NBA, both regular and playoffs. If he played the 2 years Rockets won the chip, he would have broke Kareem's all-time scoring record. Let's just ignore facts though. I'm lying, none of this happened.
Prime Kobe could average 40 if that was his goal, but his shooting percentage would be horrible, and he would have to average 31 shots for the entire season. He'll be killed for that. Jordan would be killed for that. If I had anyone who I think could do it with a higher percentage number and less shots, it has to be KD. Durant scoring and his shooting is so effortless, he would win the scoring title each year, but that would be very one-dimensional. Durant took a page from LeBron and changed his approach.
I think I owe every Bron Stan an apology. This thread opened up my eyes. They could start a thread stating Bron could have easily average a triple double, and that wouldn't be a lie. It's irreverent because he never did it but whatever right?
