No. Players just have enough discipline not to because it isn't winning basketball. Anyone can take a ton of bad shots. Just look at the playoffs in Kobe's 35 ppg year. They took a 3-1 lead with him feeding the post and scoring in the low 20's, because that was more effective basketball.
Dude was saying ballhogging is accepted now but its not. The ball dominant players are getting double digit assists.
