The Locker room atmosphere was uptight because they were losing. shyt aint supposed to be smiles and good times when the team is struggling.

Notice how all them reports of everybody being at everybody elses throats seemed to disappear whenever they team had a little winning streak going?


That shyt happens with every team. Even when the heat or the Thunder would struggle a bit there'd suddenly be reports of KD/Westbrook having "tension" or Lebron being frustrated with D-Wade.

THAT'S why people were annoying with Dwight Smiling, it wasn't the act in and of itself of smiling, it was that he was smiling when the team was struggling. You can't be down 15 points in the fourth and be chilling on the bench with a big shyt eating grin. NO fanbase is going to stand for that but in some peoples warped little minds Lakers fans were being unfair.

Lakers come back in 2014 season with Kobe, Julius Randle, 2 Prime Superstars, and Steve Nash

Some players learn on their own......I cant see that "ill teach you" shyt as a selling point. Who knows what happened in that "other meeting, but IMO the damage is done. At this point its an ego/pride thing with the Lakers. In their minds, no one walk away. However there is a first time for everything.

that's what im saying he's a smiley happy funny guy who wants to dance all the time. he's not gonna enjoy the strict atmosphere in that Laker locker room, which is way different than other locker rooms because that franchise is all about winning and keeping the franchise at the top

He did, and they BOTH talked about it publicly before the season even started. Dwight publicly said he wanted to learn from Kobe and Kobe publicly said he wanted to teach Dwight everything he could about winning so he could carry the franchise when Kobe retired.
