I've always defended Kodak. Because I know how talented he is. And I see how much pain he has inside of him. He's got a mind that's capable of great things. I don't think he's too far gone....he can still change. But it's gonna take time and it's gonna take somebody powerful to reach him. When all you know from a young age is pain and darkness, your heart becomes dark too. It's not even a choice. That's how you learn to cope with the pain....by making your so heart cold that even the worst shyt imaginable doesn't effect you. It's a coping mechanism but also a mechanism for survival. Kodak couldn't have made it out of his world if he was weak. But that doesn't mean it's too late for him. He's still a kid. and if we give up on the kids than we're no better than the cacs. At 21, your mind is still trying to process all the wild shyt you went through as a kid. After you do that, Then you can really enlighten yourself and start to let go all of all the trauma you're holding onto.

With that being said, I'ma have to stop fukkin with his music until I start seeing some growth. But I've aleady sworn off negative trap music as is. It has no place in the mind. But hoping for violence against Kodak ain't the way to go. Dude simply needs somebody that can help him move on from his past. It can be done. He just needs those role models like nipsey had.
