Simple civics, none of them would help Black people even if they could, because we aren't the majority. Obama was honest even though how he said it came off as him not caring. He said he was elected the American president, not just the president of Black people. Anyone who holds the office of president is obligated to represent the views of a voting majority. We are a minority group, which means even when our own people are in office, they are still the voice of the majority and our views and our issues are overlooked. Even if they care, they are limited in what they can actually do because of how the American government was designed. When they were drafting the Constitution, they had us in chains and it was a room full of white elites designing a system of how to govern everyone that wasn't a white elite. Sick irony, considering white elites aren't the majority either, but they knew slaves and their descendants would be behind in the race and made laws to ensure it i.e. granting the whole 3/5 rule when we were granted voting rights.
And if you're Black, Donald Trump MTG and the gang are not gonna benefit you, personally.
