Neo_G is an SNK fan at heart, always has been. O'le boy made his dreams come true working on KOFI bought KoF14 to support SNK and they're gonna put out some really good games in the near future. They hired one of the designers on Third Strike ( Neo G or whatever his name is) and I think they actually have money to make games now that they got bought out by some Chinese company.
That being said, KoF14 itself? Good game in its own right, but a little gassed up because people are tired of SF being the top dog. I'm not sure KoF14 is even as good as KoF13, but that's for KoF fans to answer.
I'll be happy if he makes a Samurai Showdown, but if gets to direct a CvS3 in collaboration with CapcomNeo_G is an SNK fan at heart, always has been. O'le boy made his dreams come true working on KOF![]()
Money is not only the factor. The director said that using Unreal Engine 4 came to his mind. But getting used to 3D comes first. Sprites almost cost the same as AAA titles.
KoF was always about quality over quantity. what you get is a full game with complex controls and alot of contentKOF out the box was a complete game so it's better by default
KOF character selection is insane I know it's the first season of Street Fighter so more characters are coming but for me the more characters the better
I prefer street fighter gameplay to KOF I have a hard time doing short hops and hyper hops on the d pad and those are vital to offense in KOF
KOF fan service blows street fighter out the water with the gallery and intros in story mode(some of them are really funny) which help make the game world more life like
Overall KOF>>>>>>Street Fighter![]()
SNK is still kinda new in 3D graphics and still figuring out things in that department. Not to mention they can no longer afford 2D sprites since it is more expensive and hard to make. Let's not forget that the company was on the verge of bankruptcy until a chinese company bought them out.
KOF may not have dominated the US, but Asia and South America is where it at.

wouldnt really say they were new in 3D

the samurai shodown games were mainline titles, Buriki One was its own series, Wild Ambition was a remake of the first fatal fury game, only spinoffs were the 2 king of fighters games (Maximum Impact & 2006)Those were all spinoff games and most of them didn't really panned out. And yes, they are still inexperienced in 2D to 3D transition. Did you see the graphics of Shenmue III during the E3 reveal last year? KOFXIV's graphics kinda looks like that.
