. What made R&B so timeless around that time was the fact that it wasn't programmed, but organic. It was pleasant and would really set the mood. You don't get that nowadays because everything feels dark and soulless. How can you hollla at a jawn playing some trap soul shyt and expect anything less than a booty call
. There's no rhyme and reason to the shyt no more. It's just microwave flavor instead of a home cooked meal .I used to play this through my headphones thinking about the jawn that sat in front of me on the yellow school bus brehs.
