Orton basically halted his push with that whole "STUPID! STUPID!" fiasco. I honestly think Kofi lost interest/motivation for a few years until the New Day idea came into fruition. You can tell he's energized and motivated by his work again. He's at his best right now, and I really wish it'd carry over into a singles push for him.
Now, Cody needs a kick to jump start his career similar to Kofi
Kofi has admitted that he was ready to give up. During New Day's Table For Three he said that New Day was it...if it didn't work he was going to walk away, said he was starting to hate coming to work and it wasn't fun anymore.
That's why I say Kofi needs to win the Money In The Bank briefcase this year... can you imagine all of the Booty-Os that will rain on the fans when he cashes in and wins the championship?

That would be a hell of a story. Give home that Christian push bit actually let him hold on to the belt for a minute instead of just jobbing him out. He's one of the few left that deserve a main event title run because of his loyalty and contributions. I wish Shelton could have stuck around to see/be a part of this.
Shelton has no personality. They tried with the Momma Boy and Gold Standard gimmicks and he didn't run with it.
