flow has slowed down post 2002ish but lyricism got better

direct influence on countless from wu to roc marc to jay, big, nas et al

gets lionized by wack ill bill types but kills them all on records

Who yall think had more skills at their peaks, G.Rap or Pun? Speaking about strictly rap skills

Puns vocabulary was deeper than G.Rap. IMO Pun was a polished GRap

This is tough. Slightest of edges to G rap for breath control

Puns breath control on CP was on point. G.Rap sometimes was hard to understand with his strong ass lisp.

I fukk with G Rap but no. Rakim wrote more interesting rhymes overall and has a much better flow.

G Rap's flow is decent, but that that lisp held him back. You already know this, which is why this thread has to be forced and links have to put up from post #1. G Rap's biggest contribution is his content and his writing style. Major contributions, no doubt. But there's much more to what makes a great rapper.
