Sadly you are on point. All his stuff has been kinda boring or just sub par (beats)Anything post-2010 from G Rap ain't worth it bruh. Lyrically he's still there, but the production quality is straight up low budget trash.
Start off with "4, 5, 6" since that's his most accessible record, then peep the first 3 albums he did with Polo
When that song dropped Alchemist said something like wait until you hear what else we been working onWhere did you guys hear there is an album coming?
Only on the second track, but this sums up it up perfectly so far. Production is passable, but he's still got crazy ability. And the hook on this track... lol. Definitely will go all the way though this later. But wow @ an album with Alchemist!Generic production and some questionable hooks and guests but G Rap still make it sound easy, worth a listen for sure if you a fan
Got me looking forward to the project he doing with Alchemist, that's got real potential with how sharp G Rap still is with the rhymes
Roots of Evil goes back and forth from being my favorite hip hop album of all time. Mobstas and Thugs Love. story are two of the best hip hop songs ever to me.Don't forget about roots of evil. G rap was on rare form on it
