Damn, he killed Nas there.

"Wack rapper trying act large in the video in Nevada (Street dreams vid) you fukking pink maggot/ I'll take the mic from you you can't have it/ these rappers are walking with ears open like fukking bunny rabbits" Keith

The only rapper that can make words like Bunny Rabbits sound dope. 👍
No he didn't. Lol

I love Keith man. He literally doesn't give a fukk AND to me he's WAY greater than Nas is.

The average or young hip hop listener will not understand.

80s, Stretch and Bob, independent business, tours, innovation, originality.

So many reasons why.

Nas probably was a fan because he sampled ultra magnetic emcees on "Take it in Blood"
Im pretty sure that's Kool Keith saying "I made it like that, I bought it like
that, Im living like that."

It is.

Look all of the 90’s era MC’s had some crazy personality traits when they got in the game. They were young, mostly from the streets, coming up from the crack era. They were all smoked out, antisocial, little nikkas who were also competing with each other. Nas was a lowkey, maybe bi-polar weed head. Jay-Z was an overly arrogant braggart. Ghostface Killah was a dust head who was robbing and beating nikkas up (Hell half the Wu was lol) and burying buckets of KFC in Hollywood directors backyards. Havoc shot a music executive in the stomach and had to beg him not to press charges. Hell even a “positive” nikka like Common was getting drunk and beating nikkas up. Lets not even get started on that whole “Soulquarians” movement being a bunch of horny head-cases.

They were all young and had faults.

Why would u think Nas is bipolar? I know bipolar people very close to me and I've never seen that trait in him.

Com was no "positive" nikka until MAYBE LWFC era lol

nikka was a whole 4CH(People's Nation). Funny because in hindsight he was legit more gangster than Cube 😂

But to your post people don't understand how grimey shyt was in the 90s and 2000s lol. That thread where nikkas used to see each other off diss tracks was the tip of the iceberg

Why cause Nas got signed?

Cause he's Coli's poster child?

My opinion is yes Kool Keith is a greater emcee than Nas.

If Nas was never signed to a major I highly doubt he'd have an illustrious career like Keith did.

Keith worked harder, is way more finely tuned, is way more New York - Bronx and I respect him way more for it.

This is just what Carmen has said. She said that back in the early days Nas would stay smoked out and would treat mad people the way Kool Keith described his encounter with Nas. Said that some days Nas would be very outgoing and friendly with people and that it could be the very next day and Nas would act as if he’d never spoken to you. She also said he definitely suffers from survivor’s guilt from Ill Will’s passing.

Nas also has rapped about perhaps being bipolar or having displayed symptoms of it.

I’m not saying he IS i’m just saying he could be. Hell I wouldn’t be shocked at all if our favorite 90’s rappers suffered from some form of mental trauma similar to PTSD. nikkas grew up in the crack epidemic watching most of their close friends either go to jail or end up dead.
