This is just what Carmen has said. She said that back in the early days Nas would stay smoked out and would treat mad people the way Kool Keith described his encounter with Nas. Said that some days Nas would be very outgoing and friendly with people and that it could be the very next day and Nas would act as if he’d never spoken to you. Nas also has rapped about perhaps being bipolar or having displayed symptoms of it.

I’m not saying he IS i’m just saying he could be. Hell I wouldn’t be shocked at all if our favorite 90’s rappers suffered from some form of mental trauma similar to PTSD. nikkas grew up in the crack epidemic watching most of their close friends either go to jail or end up dead.

Like I said I actually deal with bipolar people extremely close to me and I never seen any indication that Nas carries those traits. Son is more naturally introverted if anything. Somebody like Pac I could see suffered from depression, anxiety and maybe bipolar disorder.

Love Kool Keith, I think the TOTAL ORGASM tapes were actually some of my favorite music when they dropped and I have them all on physical except for the last one which he simply never released.

All that to say, he already was and remains a weirdo who never got really got along with most - that's kind of his thing.

Couple that with a young Nas who was notoriously low-key and socially awkward as he's rapped about, and those two were just not going to gel.

Keith is making something big out of this, I'm with @spliz and would bet my left nut that Nas doesn't even remember this meeting.

A lot of the OG's move corny as fukk, and is a big reason the 90's cats only really revere a handful of them.
