friend - a CLASSIC korean movie
dirty carnival
gangster high
rough cut - this one's a little odd.. but it's still a decent watch
sunflower. probably not the greatest movie.. but the big fight scene..

That Brotherhood movie can rival any Hollywood war drama..apart from some weak special effects ..that movie is fukkin amazing.

yeah.. that was on another level of korean movies.
korean special effects are improving though.
the tower is a recent movie that shows the improvement. it's a far cry from hollywood.. but a huge step up from that d-war bullshyt.

this is one of those movies that i loved.. but i'm hesitant to recommend to non-korean folk because i'm not sure if the humor/culture translates.
attack the gas station is another borderline recommendation because it's more comedy than action. but i loved it.

yup. it's probably the first classic korean gangster movie after the film industry really picked up in the late 90s/early 00s.
