Sounds about right. A lot of Asians are very practical about race issues. People need to travel more b/c white media has blks thinking the world hates them when it's really not that deep. Guaranteed u might get treated better than in the U.S.

Interesting how simply portraying a group of people (blacks) in the media outside of the regular negative stereotypes, can actually "humanize" said race of people in the eyes of the world


Its almost like the media itself is one of the most powerful entities on the planet and could potentially have a direct influence on race relations globally

Media is more powerful than a lot of people think, shout out to the people on here who think current rap music is just entertainment and don't cause any damage

People underestimate Soft Power. Both Japan and Korea have imported positive/cool aspects from their culture to make the image of their country better.

Japan = Anime, manga, video games, etc
Korea = Kpop, KDramas/movies etc

That was interesting. I was expecting a lot of ignorant type responses but most of the people we're pretty woke for a country that has limited exposure to black people.

I keep saying Korea is one of the friendliest, open minded asian countries to black people. Along with Japan and the Filipines.
