Kotaku Calls Titanfall on 360 "Near indistinguishable" from Xbox One version

I'm STILL playing TitanFall....you still playing Infamous...or nah? I know that feeling you get once you beat a single player game to never touch it again....did it happen to you?

I'm not playing infamous anymore, are you still playing ryse? You can't compare the replay value of a single player action title to a online multiplayer only shooter.

I guess you'd be better off comparing titanfall to killzone which Noones playing, but let's be real we all knew Xbox comes hard with the shooters. It would take a Stan to ignore that just like it would take a Stan to ignore that infamous is a solid title worth playing as well. Both ps4 and Xbox only barely got their first AAA game out the way, let's not act like one game lineup is severely crushing the other's. I'm speaking to Sony Stans as well with that one.

Never copped Ryse....it's not my type of game (I do know nikkas that play the fukk out of the multiplayer though) and I agree these are bad comparisons...I'm not an idiot...I just throw it out there to annoy these nikkas....and you are right about the lineups...but try telling that to these nikkas....good luck

It really wasn't. I saw the article on kotaku and was astonished at how Xbox one people could brag about this title when it's only a slight upgrade to the last gen version. That's basically like ps4 people bragging about the remastered last of us, like yeah I guess you could call it an exclusive

All multiplats so far are "slight upgrades" to last gen. The only reason y'all jumping all over this one is because its not on PS4.

Then that kotaku writer must be a huge Sony Stan who's getting on the game because it's not on ps4 too right? Or maybe people can feel a certain way without some deep seeded console alliance being the root of everything

I dunno, battlefield 4 on ps3 to PS4 is HUGE. Night & day. After playing both I can vouch. Not sure about call of duty. For this game I think its a combination of titanfall on Xbone not really being that pretty to begin with, and the team who did titanfall on 360 doing a hell of a job with the port.

That kotaku writer doesn't even seem to have played the game. And he was clearly trying to make a point about the entire "next gen" being lackluster, not just one game. If you were really just trying to talk about games here and not bash one system, you wouldn't have cherry picked that one quote and you would have represented the entire article for what it truly is.

If you look at comparison screens. The difference between last gen and next gen versions of TitanFall is similar. After playing both I can vouch.

This is what I'm talking about. When it's a difference that you want to promote its prefaced with words like "huge" or "night and day". But if its a difference that doesn't fit your narrative it's prefaced with words like "small" or "minor" but on a technical level the differences are pretty much the same.

Not sure about call of duty. For this game I think its a combination of titanfall on Xbone not really being that pretty to begin with, and the team who did titanfall on 360 doing a hell of a job with the port.

It's a good port of a great game. 360 owners should be happy.

The difference between 600p and 792p is larger yet now they claim its "indistinguishable"

I wouldn't read too much into the article. It sounds more like a personal piece, and it's not like he went severely into depth with the comparison. Basically, to somebody who was playing both games, the difference is not as pronounced , likely because there aren't any gameplay elements missing from one or the other.
When you take a game like battlefield though, ps360 don't even have 32vs32 matches, so the difference is easy to see.
