At the 5:30 mark Pete Hines talks about Redfall and how it plays. Says that it's not gonna be the type of game where you just mindlessly shoot enemies, you'll have to really coordinate your attacks and powers in order to take down the vampires and counter their abilities. Emphasized how it shows the type of gameplay that Arkane is known for and doesn't play like games that it may look similar to. Really interested to see some gameplay because it sounds dope

I remember Left 4 Dead was the game to play I remember going to any party, any setting where video games where involved and left 4 dead was mentioned at least twice

Breh me and two of my brothers spent days and months playing LFD 1 and 2 every night.

There's definitely an emphasis on co-op GaaS type games, but that headline isn't exactly fair.

We know that risk-taking is hard with AAA games, so we get games with a focus on multiplayer and monetization. Shareholders want that next Fortnite/Overwatch phenomenon, so the games have that samey cartoony artstytle and use zombies/undead/vampires to avoid that M rating and appeal to the kiddies

Kotaku is trying to get cheap clicks, but there is an argument to be made about innovation in the industry
