Gotta say, I have the utmost respect for Organik.

I don't really fukk with KOTD all the way as a league, the produciton values are clean as shyt but most of the roster doesn't really do it for me. That said, Organik seems like a really smart, humble, professional and focused dude. He "gets it". For a league owner, you cant ask for more than that.

How about he stop playing it safe? Cards like this are a good idea if everyone is hungry, but if you're going to book big name dudes based on ROI for weird match-ups (Rex/Con/DNA/Hitman etc.), KNOWING they aren't going to put in 100% then you can't expect the battles to be all that great. Imagine the type of material Nuborn would have prepared for this event... but all they could offer him is a spot on a Ground Zero card. Imagine what Big Kannon would do given the opportunity to be on this card. How crazy could a match-up like JC vs Illmac been? I thought Hitman was gonna come with it, but someone just said even HE had a bar about his battle being a check. Guys like Head Ice, Bigg K, Big T, Chilla, JC, Serius Jones and even Ars make more sense, because they've put on fire performances outside of Smack.

Otherwise, I think KOTD Canada does a pretty good job.

I'm so lost here... if there's one battle league owner that is never subjected to serious criticism it's Organik. If you can find some posts of people shytting on Organik, go on ahead and pull em up.

Most, if not all the blame for that usually gets pinned on Lush and his team. I doubt Organik's name got thrown in the mix.
Not saying he should take the fall if it's Lush's fault, just saying he doesn't ever really get dissed like that. We can pull up a bunch of posts dissing Smack/Norbes, Lush, ARP etc.

What events? Ether wasn't KOTD. Why would anyone give him a pass for bein white? Eurgh the dude that runs Don't Flop is half Indian but he looks white and he gets shyt on all the time haha I think it's pretty clear that KOTD keeps it as funky as any league ever has.

Danny Myers has NEVER been paid for KOTD events, Rum Nitty either.

Yet Organik had no problem putting that footage on Youtube and getting ad money.

Then its Myers and Nitty dumbass fault. They never asked for money. Why pay someone if he's willing to do it for free? Just because Danny doesnt want to make money doesnt mean kotd shouldnt. He even said he would go on URL for free if they take him.

Pay rex 12 racks out or ur own pocket for mixtape verses and expect to get paid 500 bucks from Kotd brehs

URL can hurt his career more than help at this point. He's had trouble on the big stage, and they aren't going to offer him anybody much more popular than he is to make it worth the risk. It only makes sense for him to battle on cards that are doing PPV.

if that's true it's fukked up I don't know how that would only happen to him two events in a row but even though they were KOTD they were Fresh Coast events. Never heard of any fukkery going down with KOTD unless it was fresh coast with Lush. I fuks with Lush I think he's contributed a lot BUT KOTD clearly has a stellar rep for decent business.

i thought at least at one of those, danny took payment in the form of letting a bunch of his homies into the event for free, instead of taking a check. i think organik said in a podcast and had the paperwork backing it up.

i dunno about nitty, but if someone hires me for something at an agreed upon rate, and then doesnt pay, me once services are delivered, then im not coming back again.

if these dudes are continually going to these events without being paid or setting up contracts regarding money, thats on themselves just as much as organik, smack, whoever.
