Rone's 3rd was cringeworthy man, why do battle rappers write that kinda stuff and think its gonna hit hard? Terrible angle..if he had 3 rounds like his first it might have been close but Ice got 2 and 3 easy

I hope the next battle rapper he faces calls him out on that bootstraps shyt. nikkas don't wanna hear that white republican bullshyt.

I can't deny that. I kept up with GT and KOTD for a minute. Most of those guys spilled over from the Scribble Jam era. My thing was, I liked how you had all kinds of battle rappers involved. Brothas.....white kids....asians.....hispanics. Switching the shyt with different styles and content is interesting to me. But when it comes to shyt like that "bootstraps" shyt......its like you should know that hip hop in its purest form came from our community living in poverty in NY. You'd think white people who get intp hip hop know this but they don't (low key: some of our own people don't know this). Rone made a bad decision with that angle. The rappers angle was cool tho; he should've stuck with that and maybe developed it a little more.

Yeah man I agree 100%. If you're gonna be part of a culture at least have respect for the roots. Some of these white rappers have a weird love/hate fascination with the so called street rappers. Just get up there and rap good, no one wants to hear all that other shyt

Yeah man. Seen it myself. Its a mix between embarrassment and confusion. Then some of them use hip hop for whatever and leave it for whatever else can make them feel better about themselves or make them a profit.

It'll be that shyt and then our own won't value brothas who don't wanna reflect a street/drug dealer/pimp image but nikkas can rap for real. Its all for a different topic but I like it when I can see our own branch and be even more creative than what we already have been.

I guess I'm in the minority. I watched this today and I thought it was a great battle. Rone's third had that "cringe" feeling. I see what he was doing, but he had to know the implications.

I'm not usually a big fan of Ice, but I felt like he stepped his bars up in a major way here. He wasn't a different Ice, but he probably spit like 3 rounds that were in the top 5 of Ice rounds that I've heard. The buzz about Rone getting robbed is nonsense. I can understand how it might look debatable when considering the wide range of battle rap fans, but nobody would have been "robbed" with either decision.

To me, this is the best title match KOTD has had in a very long time.
