yea, if that is that Arizona card, then that is exactly what happened
word. so everybody saying charlie threw this one because it was a KOTD battle is making an incorrect assumption
In which case I'll amend that to say the same exact thing except switching out "KOTD" with "rappers like Illmaculate." Cats clearly do not respect these dudes.

Sad thing is clips last battle this year is against Charron, on a KOTD card no less
Safe bet clips will half ass it and charron will walk away with the W. and everyone will talk about how dope charron is, when the realty is a focused clips would have washed him, but clips couldn't be bothered to write some dope shyt.

It's times like this I would embrace a win loss/ ranking system in battle rap so these supposed top tiers can't get away with throwaway freestyle rounds
I use to hate this mentality from the fans, but you it's true. If battle rappers don't take smaller leagues seriously, then the battles don't mean anything. Does losing on a smaller league really effect your status like losing on the URL does?
If not the URL, then it has to be a huge card. Cards like Lux/Hollow & the Slaughterhouse card. I believe all the battle rappers will take that Ether card seriously as well.

How would the win/loss thing work with league hopping rappers like Clips? Would it be league independent?

I don't agree with it, but that's what it is and the fans give it a pass too..
It's easier/more time efficient to bar someone life away and some bully shyt and just try to get the 2-1 debatable on 2 other battles than it is to try and 3-0 three different emcees..........
PLUS there is a wackness of opponent factor. Clips "brand" will only grow by putting a dent in other cats legacies now....... everybody else just getting to share a stage with him & get some views basically.

To be fair Clips doesn't bullshyt on KOTD. nikka even went hard against Dirtbag Dan (why waste a Clips match on Dirtbag fukking Dan when they could've booked dudes like Ness Lee or Pass
