Who's Joji?

This guy. You more than likely seen him but never gave him much attention if you aren't into RnB sung by other folk (and I don't blame you), but he's a pretty talented, seemingly normal but quirky character who's been making some waves in the music world with his music and in a sense, I'm happy for him even though I don't fukks with NONE of this Joji Branded shyt.

Who's Filthy Frank?

Before Joji decided to be "Normal" and completely distance himself from what used to be his main online Persona, Filthy Frank, he was a Troll/Internet personality that did alot of outlandish shyt that was funny in a sense, if you liked that sort of Cac shyt, but was actually original and entertaining. Through this persona he amassed a rather steady following (Mostly Cacs and cac media heathens like myself) and even managed to single handedly usher in the now, very annoying era in which the world feels the need to participate in every stupid online fad that is present, with the advent of the "Harlem" shake, which was nothing more than them dancing to a stupid song that featured the word "Harlem Shake" in it, while purposefully not doing it.

While he's pretty much abandoned this persona, doesn't mention it, and tries his best to disassociate with it, he's got fan on two fronts that will never make the twisted legacy he has created go away. Say what you want about the 'comedy' above, but there was a time when he had plans on making serious music, within the vein of the FilthtyFrank Persona (PinkGuy) that was actually pretty decent.

:ohlawd: fukk him forever, for never giving us that PinkOmega album.

So, yeah. That's it. Guy gets on Youtube. Trolls with wanton abandon while exploring his musical side. Makes music as a troll. Gets serious about making music and lessens the troll shyt to comedic mischief. Realizes that folks really like his shyt and he wants to go legit, so he stops being the Internet Personality he was, so he could make music seriously and not have it ruin the new brand he's trying to create. Also he claimed health problems but kept doing Filthy Frank for a minute afterwards, so I dunno, but yeah. That's the whole thing in a nutshell.

How the fukk did I not know this :mindblown:?

Your article does not talk about China claming that K-Pop is a CIA plot to turn chinese boys into girls. It's in fact the opposite. :stopitslime:

CIA turned our celebrities into ‘sissy pants’, says Chinese Academy of Social Sciences | World | The Times

Behind a paywall

Beijing has accused the CIA of secretly fuelling the trend for effeminate or “sissy” celebrities in China.

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Cass), one of the country’s leading research institutions, studied China’s booming entertainment industry and its demand for androgynous, coiffed male celebrities, derided in state media as “xiao xian rou” which means “little fresh meat”.

A Cass report accuses the CIA of beginning its campaign to “brainwash” Asian men in Japan in 1962 with the foundation of the Johnny & Associates talent agency.

It claims the agency’s founder, Johnny Kitagawa, was “loyal to the Americans rather than the Japanese” and colluded with the CIA to use “entertainment to brainwash the Japanese people . . . to weaken the male temperament of Japanese society”.

Since then, the Chinese report, titled “Do you know how hard the CIA is working”, says, weakened male temperament has spread to other parts of east Asia.

Beijing’s experts compared China’s entertainment industry, which “advocates feminine male artists”, to Hollywood, where “male stars are not like this, most of them are tough guys”.

The biggest celebrities in mainland China often are imported from the K-Pop industry in South Korea. Their style has influenced a generation of young fans in China who like their idols to be pale and delicate.

CASS is essentially tied to the state council of the PRC.

Okay? You're not wrong but that has zero to do with this topic.

China believes the CIA has their hands in kpop and are using it to emasculate their men. It's supposedly why they're so adamantly against it

To fight K-pop’s influence in China, a club teaches young boys to be alpha males

At the time the minister of education was using K-Pop inspired kids as role model for kids. That's not the attitude of a hostile government facing what he sees as a CIA plot.

You cant' say China as long as you don't have an official speaking about it. If China wants to say something, they will say it thru the proper channel.

This is like saying the US says something because the Rand institute said something. In fact, what is happening with K Pop is similar to what happened in the US with Hip-Hop. There are segments of the population and the intelligentsia that wants to kick it out of the country because K-Pop is seen as "too progressive".

If the Chinese gov. wanted K-Pop to be out, it would've been already out.

The video is corny but he never says the N-word in the song. It's the black dude who says it.

That's where it originated from. I think there is a full on song for this on "welcome to the rice fields" or some bungled compilation of his music as Filthy Frank but I never fukked with that side of his music since it was steeped in the most annoying parts of his Troll Persona and not anywhere near as serious as when he first tried to go legit with Pink Omega.

Could be another song, not too sure.

When I saw him transition into rap and become “Joji” it was the fakest shyt ever. Just another vulture, his transition is way more disrespectful than people perceive 6ix9ine.

:gucci: You sure you don't mean Bruno Mars, breh? That Tekashi clown as far as I know, screaming nikka with the Hard R and feel he got a pass for it cause other c00ns want to ride his rainbow coloured shyt tails.

His Joji shyt, vulture or not (I don't listen to it either) ain't no where as disrespectful as that other cat, hate/disdain for Frank aside.

Eh. He was out of the spotlight for a minute when he abandoned the whole Frank Persona; I only recently realized that he was doing R&B but I gave that shyt a few clicks and ultimately abandoned it since I prefer his rapping. Dude was nice and witty with it when he tried.
