You're lucky, I heard the wish version first lmao.

But yeah uni5 was cool. I just wish they would've dropped again. Lord knows they had enough songs recorded for it. Or maybe just do some new ones and continue to get into the groove. Remember they just hopped into the studio after flesh getting out from doing 10yrs and Bizzy being distant for like 8 (aside from bone Brothers) im sure it took a minute to get used eachother again. With kray lay and wish operating and recording as a 3 man group for longer than they were a 5 man at that time
I remember those days. Strength and Loyalty, bone brothers, and undiscovered bizzy solos held me over.

I wonder if Bizzy felt some kinda way at the title of that album without him... "Stength and Loyalty? They tryna say I'm weak and disloyal?! :damn:"

Yeah pay what they owe is one of them ones. Its almost like they hopped in a time machine for that one. They all killed it, even wish... oh wait :troll:

One thing that gets me about uni5 is I was expecting flesh to be on some resurrection shyt after 10yrs locked. I thought he would be ripping shyt apart like let the law end... but nah he was just chilling
Funny how I thought pay what they owe would be a gangsta ass song based on that title, but it turned out to be some of the smoothest shyt ever :banderas:

Glad krayzie is recovering but on a side note we need an official Bone Thugs thread on here to shoot the shyt and show appreciation to the GOATs

I made a official bone thugs news thread years ago, that I was posting all the new stuff

https://www.thecoli.com/threads/off...ws-thread-new-flesh-music-video-added.724009/

And also a Krayzie Bone GOAT thread

https://www.thecoli.com/threads/let-me-make-a-case-for-krayzie-bone-to-be-considered-a-goat.700033/

They weren't getting that much attention though

Did anyone ever reveal the reason he didn't sign with swizz? Can't be another one of those "they wasn't gonna pay us what we're worth so I said fukk it" situations right?

Lowkey i always thought it was because wish pressed him on stage at one of his solo concerts lmao

Wish had a few moments where he was the highlight of the song, in my opinion.

Tha Crossroads(actually both versions)
Everyday Thang(The Show)
Shoot Em Up
No Surrender
E. 1999 is a tie between Wish and Layzie
"Bone gon wit cha bad self now heyyy hey hey,
Throw up ya fist wit cha pistol and get wit the buckin that baaaang bang bang"

:banderas: yo they all killed that whole song, and I love wishes outro to bizzy's verse that connect like heaven :banderas: they don't make 'em like that anymore :mjcry: . But, "wanna hurt that nikka bone" :dwillhuh: Idk wtf he mean, but I'll let it rock :wow:

But yea, Shoot em up, Eternal, and everyday thang are definitely my top verses from him :salute:

East 1999 might be wish best verse after no surrender
Wish on Mo Murda :wow:
1st of tha month
Mr. Bill collector
Bud smokers only
Eternal
He was going off on shotz to the double glock too

No wishbone verse on E.1999 was below an 8.5

mo murda might be bone with all the stones. Every verse was elite. Worst verse was Layzie Bone and it was still a 10. And I would only say it was the worst because he didn't have any little sing songy quotable like the other members in that song. But he didn't need one because he rapped his ass off.

I can honestly say not one bad verse from any bone member on creepin or in eternal.

Had me wondering did someone write for wish during that time and what happend to his flow on AOW. He went completely left from his previous.

I can see these, except for the bolded. Shoot em Up, I got Krayzie, and E. 1999, I got Layzie.

Other Wish standout songs for me tho are Change the World and If I Could Teach the World

He pressed bizzy. Sorry if I worded that wrong. But he showed up to a bizzy concert, made his way through the crowd, climbed up on stage and said something along the lines of "who wanna see Bizzy back with the group?" Mad random lmao.

This interview is classic lmao.... praise gawwwwd

Krayzie says in the same interviewbthat Bizzy came up with The hook for creepin on ah come up when the interviewer asked him. And Krayzie himself also said up until the art of war they would all work together and if one guy had a good idea they all would roll with it and build off it. Even if Krayzie Bone is the one that primarily puts things together it doesn't mean that the rest of the group have never made a hook or melody, or aren't capable of doing so, which is what alot of fans make it seem like. I love krayzie but its not Krayzie Bone and the Krayzettes. Bizzy and layzie have dope hooks and melodies on their solos which shows they are more than capable of coming up with stuff. Even flesh has his moments.

Bizzy also says in his court interview (haven't finished watching yet) that their style/process started a collaborative effort. Now if it evolved into something else that's fine but I feel they all need props especially for the early days.. and Calling him Picasso on thugs cry is hardly admitting that he does all the hooks.

Gotta check that see me shine. I haven't heard it smh. There was like 100 songs floating around during the uni5 era it was hard to keep up

That's my bad, I can see how what I wrote came off that way.

I meant to say post AOW. But ultimately, yes, they do creatively work together. I mean 1st of the month was Layzie Bizzy and Krayzie that came up with that hook and melody.

hot take: T.H.U.G.S is bones worst album to me and the only song i like off of it is Remember Yesterday :manny:

no other beats have the signature bone sound and they sound like beats you'd buy on a website $20 for 5.

Other hot take: Uni5 isn't even that bad. in fact, i like the album and it gave me 4 fukking classics:
(in order from best to worst)
1. Just Vibe
2. Universe
3. Pay What They Owe
4. Everytime
5. My Life

i don't get why everyone talks down on that album and just those 2 top songs make the album worth it and blow T.H.U.G.S out of the water .

Unstoppable is a classic BTNH track off of T.H.U.G.S. - Bizzy and Wish on the hook :ohhh:

I think I'm the only person that likes Gone off of UNI5 too lol Krayzie's verse was a definite highlight.

Hot take: I never got crazy into creepin on ah come up :manny:

"Stalkin Jack fools, smokin cat foot! :banderas:"
