KRS seems to hold Immortal Technique in quite a high regard, has mentioned him several times. Someone should as him what's good with the joint album with Premo lol.

Will check this when I get home. Never really seen Bone communicate with any NY heads in the 90's. They barely gotta any play out here in nyc aside from Croosroads

2 legends:damn:

krayzie bone never gets excited about anything, this is the most turnt up i've ever seen him:laugh:

him and the rest of bone have always shown love to their musical influences (nicknamed himself krayzie jackson after michael)

and in this track he breaks down all of the MCs he grew up listening to. you can't fake any of this

Now whenever "the East was in the house, oh my God"
We would fo'sho' keep the party live if you put on some Boogie Down
Production, blastin the KRS-One
Now what about Just Ice - "Suicide, it's a suicide, biddy-bye-bye"
Remember the Biz Markie, "Ah-one-two, ah-one-two"
And Big Daddy Kane, told them nikkas
That it Ain't (Ain't) No (No) Half (Half) Steppin' (Steppin')
At the house parties the DJ scratchin up the record
It was Mar-ley Marl, got the whole party bumpin
Remember "the freaks come out at night" - they wasn't frontin
Oh, this was the jam, "Roxanne Roxanne"
Everybody and they momma did a reply to them nikkas man
What y'all nikkas know about that Chill Rob G
nikka +Ride the Rhythm+, Flavor Unit MC's
Chubb Rock sellin yellin "I'm a DJ in the vader"
And I couldn't wait to see, Jam Master Jay
We was "ohh-la ohh-la ayy, ohh-la ohh-la ayy"
Kept the people dancin the song with Kid 'N Play
I said it's kept the people dancin the song with Kid 'N Play
Now Runnnn (Run) D.M.C. (C) - was fresh (fresh)
Knock 'em out the box Rick, knock 'em out Rick
Doug E. got your back up with that funky beatbox shyt
The Fat Fat Fat Boys, and Kurtis Blow
Came with the "These, are, +The Breaks+!" (breaks)
Is you feelin me? nikka is you feelin me?
I'm just sayin, I give up love so y'all just better remember me

Never said he did. I actually like that he's introducing Wu to some hip hoppers of this generation. I just get the feeling though that he's not really a big Wu fan. You know, sort of like what KRS was saying. He may know about Method Man, but does he really know about more obscure Wu sh!t? I could be wrong tho :manny:
I got to disagree here.
Drake has been quoted saying Little Brother influenced him a lot back in the day. (He knows some stuff)

In Toronto there are fukking Wu symbols all over the fukking place, they have a huge following among "hipsters" lol

And you can tell Krazyie is authentic cause he said a song that only real KRS-One fans would know about. He didn't give a generic "The Bridge is Over". He said "Ya Slippin". I give him wild props for that

Also back then, thy grew up listening to rap in the early to late 80s where KRS-One ruled (Along with Kane, Rakim, etc) and basically all the big rappers were from either NY or Cali. Some south sprinkled in but you really had to seek it out or be from that town.

Last time I was out there, I was in kensington with my Wu shirt, 2 random dudes came up to me and started rapping verses. Same in Cali, same in London and Paris. That Wu symbol always gets attention.

Judging alot of Bone's content, You would think that they have no clue or know anything about KRS. These cats studied the OGs and it shows in their music
That's the thing...

Guys like Nas, 2Pac, Biggie, Jay Z, Eminem, Bone Thugs, The Wu, Snoop Dogg and many more actually came wanting to be MC's...

And the producers were HEAVILY influenced by real soul musicians...This apparent when you listen to The Doggystyle mixtape Snoop released...

After the 90s, and Jay Z's promotion of "I am not a rapper, I am just a hustler who happens to rap" attitude, now rappers look at hip hop as a come up, instead of art of expression...

If this trend continues, we will reach a point were nobody even knows were hip hop started, and a white dude will come along and proclaim that he started hip hop, and the world will believe it...

Look at Jesus and the pyramids in Egypt...

KRS One is smart as hell...Dude really has some critical thinking skills...
