The second apron absolutely functions as a hard cap, I’m sure that’s by design. I have no idea why the NBAPA allowed it

The players were the ones losing money so certain teams could go deep into the tax, it's never been more profitable for them than it is right now. Only twitter is mad at CJ :pachaha:

That ether, the shyt that make your soul burn slow....him and Jrue were rented mercenaries that got us a chip...And the love was always real but we knew what time it was for this team after this year regardless of Tatum's injury.

How's the search going for the best assistant coach in the NBA? You miserable schmucks are going to get a Blockbuster 2 for $5 run in the east this year with the path of torn achilles laid out in front of you...Best of luck on your Disney finals run next year Ace :salute:

Atlanta will be interesting in an open Eastern Conference.

They have constructed about as good of a team around Trae as possible. They have athletic wings, they have shooting, perimeter defense and rim protection. KP and Trae pick and pop actions, Johnson coming back... Daniels building on a damn good season too

I can see them being a top 6 team after this trade with relatively good health

My Hawkset that’s trippin in here and to any NBA fan in general yall can’t view every trade in a vacuum. Most deals have layers and intent outside of right now on-court fit. Teams make one trade so they can set up for future trades, cap flexibility and other maneuvers

This trade got Boston under the apron, got the Hawks off a shytty Terrance Mann contract plus he wasn’t gonna play much and the Nets got a vet and a FRP.

We possibly have one year of Porzingis, maybe he fits well, maybe not then he’s off the books. I ain’t mad at the deal
When I first saw the thread I thought it was weird ..but when I read about how bad Mann was in Atlanta it made a lot more sense . He was solid on the clips..but if he was a bad fit I get getting KP for him and Niang isn’t a bad deal

And if he is healthy is a really good one

Porzingis never stays healthy so I don’t even count him, but even before this trade I was eyeing Atlanta as a dark horse following all the injuries in the East.

I feel they could be what ppl think Orlando and Detroit are. And in a series, battle of the midgets, Trae can match a Donovan or Brunson.

KP stays hurt, the illness shyt he had wasn't an injury tho... Even if they monitor him through the regular season and he's ready for the Playoffs, they lowkey have what you want for the most part in the Modern NBA

Durant rumored to the Spurs. Didn’t happen.
Porzingis rumored to the Spurs. Didn’t happen.
Giannis rumored to the Spurs. Ain’t happen yet.

Spurs fam, we can throw all these rumors to the bushes.

Everybody is “hearing things” right now for the clicks.

Our saving grace in the past was foreigners who weren't really westernized, no westernized top player will ever come to San Antonio. Draft is our only hope, and when that time comes we better hope Wemby is graceful like Tim Duncan or he's gone
Spurs can have any trade they want . But you have to be willing to trade assets. Durant wanted to go to San Antonio. Yall problem is yall don’t want to give up any meaningful asset.

The Jalen brown would be a perfect fit if the rumor are true but then yall wouldn’t want to give any assets again. And in the end we’d get the same bullshyt real about the timeline not matching up.
