You got to shop the sales at Publix. I only shop the sales and stock up on goods.

Aldi for some of my produce.

I went shopping at Kroger 2 days ago and they are getting a bit out of control with some of their prices. A 3lb bag of chicken breasts is $8.99...its $5.99 at walmart.

$1 for a can of tuna :childplease:
Bag of "value" potatoes is up to damn near $4 now
Eggs at $1.95 for a dozen

It seems like the past 2 months or so it has gone way up. I might just hit up Wal-Mart at the end of the month.
you are so cheap that you are complaining about something that costs $1 :whoo:

think about how far $1 worth of gas will get you. then think about everything that has to happen in order to get that fish in that can. canned tuna is nasty as fukk too. youre the guy in the grocery store breath reekin like canned fish talking about "they chargin $4 for value potatoes now!!:damn:?"

It's not the price, its the significant jump in recent weeks.

The store brand tuna was 60 cents a little while ago, chicken breast packs have gone up almost double as well. I don't drink much milk, but I would assume a gallon is about $4. Yeah I am going to complain about potatoes...thats my main carb source so chill :whoa:

I prefer shopping with Kroger because they don't screw their workers over like walmart does when it comes to health coverage and benefits.

I'm assuming you haven't shopped there....pack of chicken breast 5.99 (the big foot sized joints too) and a decent sized 80/20 ground beef is like 7 or 8 :rudy:

Quality>>quantity

I'd rather eat a prostitute's ass than food from Aldi

Well I've been eating for a while now and never ran into a problem lol. Open up your mind a little....american farmers are no different than german imo. They all wake up at 4am and mend the cornfields :lolbron:

but you gotta pay every year to shop there right?! Wouldn't the cost of the membership offset the savings?!
