The comparison/example he used during the convo too was stupid. I get the general idea in what he's saying, and I don't necessarily disagree with the idea in itself, but when it's something as heinous as being a :sitdown:alleged or not...:snoop:

Nore switched the direction quickly after that.

Its really not a good look.

if they really think he's innocent then they should EASILY know to shut up and be silent about the topic

KRS didn't take a stance but C Rayz flat out is denying it by using the craziest rants about his 4 year old son's penis and shyt.

now I see why some people tell you never to meet your idols....

he's defending hip-hop and its effects on the music industry according to my reading comprehension

correct me if i erred

“For me, if you keep it hip-hop, nothing can be taken away from Afrika Bambaataa“.

Hip-hop figureheads have gradually weighed in on Afrika Bambaataa’s recent child molestation allegations since they were made last month. As Complex points out, KRS-One recently defended the hip-hop pioneer, saying whatever comes of the allegations it shouldn’t tarnish the influence Bambaataa has had on the genre.

“If you want to dig into dude’s personal life and accusations that’s being made and so on … personally … I don’t give a fukk,” he said in a now-deleted interview on the Drink Champs podcast, adding: “If somebody was harmed or whatever, y’all gotta deal with that shyt … that don’t stop what you did for hip-hop.”

The rapper didn’t take a side on whether he believes the allegations.

“It don’t take away none of it. History is history. But deal with that. That’s personal,” he said.

Bambaataa recently dismissed the accusations, which began with Bronx politician Ronald Savage and have caused three other alleged victims to speak out.

“It’s people that’s trying to sell a book,” he said, referring to Savage’s memoir that brought up the alleged assault.

it didn't sound like he was defending molesting kids while I was listening to the podcast. KRS just said baambaataa place and contribution in hip-hop history was cemented and that if baambaataa was gay, then that's his personal life. KRS did say if kids did get molested then the law has to handle it. he just gave a very safe answer from what i remember. that title sounds like click bait.

That came from the source of the article....factmag. not me. I added rape/molestation to the sexual assault all three of those have been mentioned in this situation.

props for the transcript.

KRS was strictly speaking in regards to bambaataa's place in hip-hop. he didn't defend bambaataa's allegations, but just said he has to deal with the law and that it shouldn't take away from his contribution to hip-hop. he should've worded it in a better way but that mai tai probably had him not giving a fukk :skip:

Idk what question was asked but it sounds like krs is insecure about his place in history so he fights for ABB's until its time for him to be done.

Like if dudes are accusing someone of molesting boys and you divert to hip hop then its like what are your real intentions? I'm not saying bash him or support him but what are you talking about?
