KRS is rapping his ass of on this. Bars, flow, delivery are all on point here. I’m literally hanging on his every word listening to this.
He’s so good on this it’s, so far, making up for subpar production.
Still, the subpar production is probably going to kill replay value.

With better production, this would be classic level shyt for KRS.

Lyrically, he's always been my favorite MC of all-time. So hearing him keep his bars top-shelf after 36 years is really dope. Not sure anyone else has been able to do that, for this long. A lot of veteran MC's don’t want to spend on production today, but if he did, I think more people would be talking about this album.

To be clear, these aren’t good beats. But they are very minimalist and really allow you to focus on the bars. They also evoke the feeling of 80s boom Bap. To early to tell whether the beats ruined this album for me, but I somewhat get the idea.
