one of the best pure PG's to ever play at KY. The WVU game will forever haunt me.

Kyrie Irving is worse statistically (other than slight egde in ppg) and worse in terms leadership/attitude. Dude is bouncing from Cleveland ASAP

I'm right here to take the crucifying. I thought he was a bust who was going to be a back-up at best. It seems I was dead wrong.

Maybe it's the winning that's clouding my judgement, but he's taken much more of a leadership approach. He doesn't have that reckless game style that he had in the past. He's never been a bad player but he wasn't this either.

Him and Nene have looked amazing lately on the court.

I, like some didn't understand the hype of Wall coming out of Kentucky. I knew he was talented, but I didn't see superstar potential (and still don't) some thought he was capable of. I was already turned off by his boisterous dance which made me think he was spoiled punk.

As much as i enjoyed the wizards failures in his first few years, I started to feel for the young lad. With the abundance of talent at pg, Wall was sort of put in the backburner. Also doesn't help when your team is known for being on shaqtin a fool a handful of times.

I really thought dude was gonna be out of DC, but the front office did the smart thing and got rid of the Mcgee, Swaggy P and brought in veterans like Ariza, Nene and Miller who had been in the playoffs with success, but more importantly, could provide the leadership he desperately needed.

Not only did dude make a fan out of me, but it's seeing how the veterans on the wizards revere him shows me how much he has come from that kid from Kentucky. His still young, and his game will grow. But it's seeing his maturation is what makes me root for someone like him. I really ain't even mad they spanked my bulls.

John Wall, go 'head cook. You deserve it :salute:
Yeah, this was huge, no way around it. To :camby: those clowns and replace them with the consummate pros that they did? That's invaluable for a young player who was himself already being looked at as his team's leader. I want EG gone yesterday, but I gotta give him credit for these moves.

I also hope what doesn't get lost here is that JW will probably be the guy responsible for putting DC on the map as (finally) a prime FA destination.
