The level some guys improvise on the mic is overrated. Its usually just a one line response to a chant, that could've been thought of beforehand anyway. I know Steph didnt improvise that CM Punk line she dropped a while back.

This shouldn't drop anyone's opinion of Rock on the mic, unless you're such a stan you thought he came up with all his own sh1t.

Here's when I knew Steve Austin was the king of improvisation.

WrestleMania 19 Axxess, he was doing an autograph signing and the Rock interrupted him. Their entire encounter wasn't scripted at all... Rock held his own but Austin kept coming up with clapbacks after clapbacks.

So Rock said "There ain't a hair on that ass that says you can beat me in the ring!"

"I shaved it"

I thought everyone knew this after the whole writing prromo on his wrist fiasco.

Doesn't make me think any less of him, though.

This isn't news or even a bad thing in the slightest. Rock is a very character driven persona. Also I still see that the wrist notes was a planned spot and it didn't expose or hurt Rock at all. Nor did it speak anything to his inability or cenas abilities. Rock has already shown a ton of improvisation over his career. More so these days. Seen good instances during his prime too. But the name Brian Gerwitz is nothing new. You should have been known Rock worked from two ways. bullet points and from there use his crowd control and charisma to make it work. Or go off the cuff and do his own thing.

Punk had bullet points on his tape when he dropped his pipebomb
I remember that.

Rock improvises fine. Remember WM30 when he and Stone Cold took Hogan's flub about the Silverdome and worked it into their promos? They're all great.

We saw Austin and Rock in the ring at WM XXX...Rock sounded much more fluid than him and Jericho doesn't have any improvision moments like Rock that are heralded.

Rock just called Punk at Raw while Jericho does safe and character promos. Rock beasted on Jericho in 2000 and 2001. Decimated Angle for years..Rocks Draft promo making Vince look like a novice is better than CM Punk's most vivid 4th wall promo..

If anything this shows how great he is. A lot of the content was corny but his delivery was dope. If he had a team of dope writers he could've been wrestlings drake:troll:
