Cori Bush really messed up on the tax question Fox News flash-backed to. It's important to note that the "How much of a percentage should the rich pay?" is a gotcha-question. Is she supposed to create a number out her ass? No, she should have said we need a PROGRESSIVE tax rate, where the rich WOULD be paying a higher percentage. If I make 40k a year and pay 10% in taxes, a millionaire/billionaire should not be paying 10% in taxes also. EQUAL PERCENTAGE DOES NOT MEAN EQUAL BURDEN. The millionaire/billionaire will not be hit hard because he has MUCH MORE disposable income he can spend/reinvest and make himself richer.
Cori bush kinda proposed a flat tax without really knowing it. That's why the Fox News interviewer readily agreed with it, because he also wants a Flat Tax rate.
And yes, ICE was doing slavery. A judged ruled that the case had enough merit to move forward. ICE needs to go. Dems need to hammer that home as hard as republicans smeared Obamacare. But they won't because they don't know their shyt.
