Kyle Lowry Opts Out

I dont understand the double standard. Lowry is 31 and has played 79, 70, 77 and 60 games. Chris paul is 32 and has played 62, 82, 74 and 61 games. Yet, Lowry is aging and injury prone. But CP3 is worth the max??

CP3 getting a max from any team besides the clippers will be awful as well. you're gonna get 1-2 all-star level years from them and the rest will be struggling.

lowry can at least rely on derozan, powell or ibaka to take the load off. CP3 is gonna burn out faster with his playing style and carrying the load. both will be bad signings imo

He's gonna be good for the next 2-3 years at best. I just dont see the point in Raptors giving him 5 years. They struggled against one man Pacers, broken heat, and rookie Bucks. Its time for them to let him go..I can see the Sixers giving it, they have money to spend, need veterans and he fills that position.

CP3 is not necessarily worth the max for the number of years he will get either but because of his name and his reputation he will get it.
