Can we have a mature discussion on this?
I think one of the problem is we are politicizing terms making them meaningless.

exactly. He explains it clearly. It's the b*stardization of identity politics, and it allows the dems to divert attention from substantive issuesBut that's not what he's talking about. He's saying identity issues is being used in politics to promote heinous ideas and policies from both the GOP and the Dems.
Identity politics isn't being overused. It's being misused to the point of abuse.
No I know, what I said was really just to add on to what he said or a side comment rather. But that's not what he's talking about. He's saying identity issues is being used in politics to promote heinous ideas and policies from both the GOP and the Dems.

Say what?Another thread where OP didn't watch the video and derails the conversation before it can even start.
:camtook:
Say what?
I added to what he said, how is that derailing?
It is YOU who is derailing the thread with ad hominems
You always do thatHe's a whiny little twat. And he's doing exactly what she accused people of doing.
He's wrong.
NEXT!
this is precisely why so many black people aren't drawn to being sucked into the far left socialist talking point...we haven't even gotten ours yet in terms of capitalism and we want to do that...and now you got these far leftists just ignoring issues that literally impact us and target us.Listened to it and I disagree with his points. For example in discussing the war on drugs he deliberately misstate the argument, there is a difference between someone saying an issue disproportionately affects minorities and saying "only affects minorities. He reflects a sentiment common among white people which is to misunderstand how policies can easily be implemented in a manner that affects mostly minorities. He then proceeds to say by dealing with the issue it helps everyone instead of just minorities. It's like how the FHA initiated redlining and it was a progressive policy when it was started. The other issues he conflates, if someone is criticizing Raytheon for its building war machines it is one thing but if you are perceived to be criticizing it only after they unveil this policy or CSR campaign that's how you get entangled in the type of stuff Kamala Harris is talking about. I have also noticed that among leftists there is much more discussion about income inequality especially when Oxfam releases the global stats but they are much less vocal when studies on race based income inequality are released, in fact one of their criticism is that Democrats are only interested in the racial representation of the 1% and their solution to income inequality will help everyone. The biggest problem is that the solutions then sound like trickle down social justice, besides the optics are bad when white supremacists throw in their lot to criticize identity politics. Some white people don't even realize when identity politics is used for their group by the GOP they just see it as normal politics.
smh shut upKulinsky is a left wing white supremacist.
I donate now why yall keep ignoring it.
He HATES anything that targets minority empowerment.
He just likes to gloss over everything in terms of class.
No he does NOT think it is a hoax, just over reported on.this is the same dude who thinks the Russia story is a hoax
