I remember serving on a jury...black kid shot a dude that robbed him

it was clearly in cold blood

his lawyer argued self-defense

it wasn’t

but we were mostly black and straight up said amongst ourselves one black kid already lost his life...and we didn’t wanna be responsible for ruining another one...we figured if he got off it’d be an opportunity for him to do better for himself and if he didn’t and got mixed up in some fukk shyt well then he’d end up dead or back in prison...there was only one white guy on the jury...he was LIVID with us but fukk him...he wouldn’t budge tho so it ended up being a hung jury...dude eventually got off tho the next time he was tried...old jurors kept up with the trial and called some of us with updates

but ya my point being...it all boils down to the jurors and how they feel/their intentions...I’m hoping they find him guilty tho...there was no provocation for this...dude went out there looking for trouble and caught 2 bodies

I’m not so much thinkin about the jurors as much as I’m thinking about all the time the prosecution will be able to study this, examine evidence, witness statements and video to roast this bs, that skateboard never hit his head if I remember and even if it did it wasn’t intentional....

this is involuntary manslaughter.....if someone who isn’t police decides to start shooting, other civilians trying to subdue the shooter are NOT out of line...because this guy Kyle isn’t wearing a POLICE uniform...he could be anybody so the crowd attempted to protect themselves and others from what they thought was a mass shooter....(and he was).....which is why him not being deputized or commissioned to do this will come into play...he has no authorization use that level of force amongst civilians in that situation...

prosecution only loses this if they in the militia too
