i thought he had 3 years left on his rookie deal then he can sign the 1 year qualifying offer then become a unrestricted free agent the year after,kinda like what Nick Young did

if Kyrie does the same thing he'll be a unrestricted free agent in 2016

only thing that can fukk him up is if he tries to sign elsewhere in 2015 when hes a restricted free agent and cleveland matches the offer

Nobody does that though. Why give up guaranteed money in an extension with a huge raise to play on a one year deal. Too big of a risk for injury.

Nick Young did that because his dumbass thought he was worth $9 million a year and the Wizards offered a multi year deal in the $6 million per year category. Thankfully he declined and that's why he signed the qualifying offer. But guess what? He signed a one year deal worth $6 million with the 76ers. :laugh:
